• Issues and Crisis Management in the Food Industry conference and workshops

  Gain resources and insights from Australian and overseas experiences and responses to food crises. The conference explores emergency management planning, surviving a pandemic, food continuity planning, risk communication, proactive crisis management, media and public relations in a crisis and legal issues. It is preceded by three intensive workshops on preparing an emergency management plan, risk communication, and handling the media, all held on 3 June. The conference and workshops will be of great value to anyone with a part to play in managing or communicating food related issues or crises such as recalls, sabotage, animal disease and contamination.
