New Zealand Food and Wine Sectors
In 2007, food and beverage exports produced more than 50% of New Zealand’s income. 80% of the food we produce is exported and 35% - 1 in 3 of us – are employed in roles linked to food production. In New Zealand we rely more heavily on the food sector for our balance of trade than almost any other country.
